Algo importante por aprender, cuando estudias un idioma, son los números.
¿Puedes contar en inglés?
¿Hasta 10, 100, 1,000 o .....un millón?

Ahora practiquemos un poco de pronunciación
A. Primero que nada el sonido de la combinación “TH” en los números.
3 (three)
13 (thirteen)
30 (thirty)
1,000 (one thousand)
PRACTICA:
Coloca tu lengua entre tus dientes y sopla.
Sabemos que esto no se ve muy bien en frente de otras personas, porque en ambas culturas es una falta de respeto.
Pero si logras hacer el sonido de la “TH,” te evitarás muchos problemas y confusiones, porque existen muchísimas palabras con el sonido de la “T” que se pueden confundir con las palabras de “TH.”

B. Otro sonido que causa mucha confusión es la “I” corta.
En inglés no se produce el sonido de /ee/ como en el español.
Más bien como /ie/ el sonido proviene de la parte baja de tu garganta.
A ver intenta esto: /ie/
Ahora repite: six sixteen sixty six thousand
C. En el número 8 (eight), la "GH" es muda.
Trata de recordar que cuando veas una palabra con "GH," algunas veces ésta es muda.
