PRONUNCIATION – LISTENING COMPREHENSION –and READING COMPREHENSION

If you improve your English pronunciation, you will automatically improve your ability to understand it when someone speaks to you – Listening Comprehension.

At the same time, you will also improve your Reading Comprehension! How? Well, when we read we “say” the words in our minds. Unfortunately, in English there are a lot of words that look the same but are pronounced differently and have different meanings:

Bear, beer

How, who

Etc.

And as you read you may mistake one word for another.

So improving your pronunciation a little every day will help a lot. Reading out loud helps also, especially if you read slowly and clearly until your jaw hurts!!!!!!
